for not replying before - a long weekend up in Liverpool with our kids got in
the way, I'm afraid.
Fundamentally, I am
happy to go along with all the reassurances and undertakings that you
describe. Liberal Democrat policy
applies at all levels - locally, regionally and nationally, and does not rely
upon technologies for which the full environmental and health impacts have not
been fully assessed and understood.
As far as Guildford is
concerned, we would seek to put in place a zero waste strategy and would not
consider any other technologies until all options for resource recovery have
been exhausted.
